The 2 most successful expantion teams were the jags & the pampers, both built from nothing & were all but instant contenders. Who were their superstars? They started their build with lines jags with Oline & pampers with Dline/LBs. I dont think this team is as bad as convetion says, nor do I think its as good as our draft picks would indicate. I think we are roll players (3 or 4) away from the playoffs consistanly; a team that starts the season knowing its going to the playoffs & playing for divition title & a shot at a championship with commitment & execution. Thats not to say that I think DMac wont play a part in a winning season or getting us to the playoffs, hes not the one missing piece thats kept us from contention. Im sure Ill love watching the kid play & Im commited to him & willing to give him more than a fair chance to prove himself.
