I dont really like flashy backs, it seems they have two types of runs when they get to the NFL, 10+ yard gains or 3+ yard losses. If you look at it like QBs: out of 10 passes you get 6 completions & 4 sacks your not moving the chains. Rbs if your 4 yard average comes from one 25 yard gain two 2 yard losses & two stops at the line, your not moving the chains. I think thats what we all fear from DMac. You never know when the big one is coming, but untill it gets here you get 2 & 3 yard gain, hammered in the backfield, getting as much as the line gives him & stoped on contact. I cant wait to see the kid pop off a big one, but I hope he can grind out the 4 to 6 yarders to he gets the one for 63. |
So we'll soften them up with Fargas & Bush and then knock em' out with Run DMC,I want to be logical here, our backfield just got upgraded,ANYBODY HERE WORRIED ABOUT OUR RUNNING GAME THIS YEAR?.....I DIDN'T THINK SO!
And most of the backs on Max's list are small,McFadden is a big back,he's a Kaufman type speedster who doesn't get blown down by the wind, and Kiffins no idiot(I Hope Not) when we fake it to him we will draw LB's & Safeties and we will have one on one down field with Miller wide the f'k open..Again,for me it's the year of Jamarcus,we have to make last years "Big Pick" pan out,we needed to get him help,I totally agree with the pick, and I will not second guess myself until he actually does suck.
This is good for Bush to because he doesn't have to be ready yet, we can work him in slowly, but the way it was looking before the draft he was a Fargas knee-cap away from being all we had,but who knows? for all I know he could be ready now.
