I know this isnt the place for politics, but I carry my soap box with me ever where I go. The vast majority of people are Libirtarians at heart, but dont know it. They've never been presented with any thing but the propiganda of media news & feel they only have the choice of "the lesser of two evils". While people like Ron Paul say the things that makes sence, that people know are true & the way things should be & the way our founders ment for them to be, but all the "media people" fallow every mention of him (& others of his ilk) with "if only he were electable" or "its to bad he cant get any support". The people that care enough to know their government & the issues & the people behind those issues are the ones that support those who are called unelectable & fringe candidates. McCain, Obama & Clinton are media candidates that will be the same person in office. No matter what they do or how they do it the result will be the same; a nation with less freedom when they are done. The two major parties are, in fact, socialist & fascist & the only diference between them is a bord of directors. Eather the goverenment/party controll the people & the freedom there of, it is controlled by corporate/power brokers. In eather system, wealthy & powerful oppress the masses with fear and/or poverty. While in the free republic that we were given by our founder & was lost by our fathers & grandfathers, it is the masses that have the power of fear over the rule of goverment (the purpose of both the 1st & 2nd ammendments) and the abilty to change or abolish it as well as the freedom to conrtoll it not "it" (you cant fight city hall) controlling us (us both individually & in mass). All of YOUR freedoms that you have lost have been lost to fear, the people fear poverty- the goverment takes their power to control ecinomics & free trade, the people fear terrorism- the government takes their privacy and ablity to defend themselves with the promice of public defence (I carry a gun because a cop is too heavy). Looking over the history of this nation you will see that the more things we fear the more rights & freedoms we lose to a goverment that produces more things for us to fear. We live as slaves to the state & to the banks that the state has impowered. Thank you for endulging my rate, I will now put away my soap box.
