Not to worry, Max... the Mane will be back soon.
Here's what TJ posted on the Broncos Country forum:

The good news is, avatars are coming back.
The bad news is that I have a lot of work to do to get our broken, 1GB+ database repaired, optimized, and then moved over to our new server. I've tried fixing it several times, but every time I have tried, I push the machine past its limits and the entire thing has crashed - which kills a lot of time. A big part of the problem has been that I've been trying to do it with people still trying to access the site. So I've purchased a new host, and moved the domain over there. The domain is resolving now across the globe. If you see an Orange Mane landing page saying "Moving Servers," then you are seeing the new host. If you see a "page cannot be displayed" then you are seeing the old host.
I'm probably going to put up a temporary board that we can use on the new host until I get the database repaired and back on line. That may take me a little time. I'm going to have to play that by ear.
No, the Orange Mane is not dead -- we are coming back. Yes, this is irritating -- It wasn't planned. I'm going to do everything I can to salvage the database, but right now I have as much access to it as anybody here -- none. I'm expecting a server reboot soon.
There's a lot of silver lining in this though that I should mention. Supposedly - and I'll believe it when I see it - this new server is supposed to be able to handle *any* amount of traffic that we throw at it. It's a server cloud that scales up as the needs of the site require it to. If it works like advertised, we'll be able to bring back avatars and have more than 200 people on the site at the same time without a problem. I'll be honest: I've got my hopes up about this new platform.
Sorry for the problems -- but I've got the Daedalus fired up and on the way ready to transport people back home.
