Bad news for raiders chiefs sign ty law
It's official, Ty Law is now a Chief.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — The Kansas City Chiefs came to agreement Sunday with free-agent cornerback Ty Law, a team official told the Associated Press.
Chiefs spokesman Bob Moore said Law had agreed to terms on a five-year agreement.
A five-time Pro Bowler, Law led the NFL with 10 interceptions last year for the New York Jets. Herman Edwards, the Jets coach last season, is now head coach of the Chiefs and has vowed to rebuild a defense that has been near the bottom of the league for five years.
Law is to be in Kansas City on Monday for a physical.
