Brooks brings nothing, absolutely nothing to this team.... we will not win many this year regardless but Walter will get some valuable experience this year.

Under no circumstances should Brooks be re inserted in this lineup and should be placed behind TUI, I honestly believe Brooks is worse than Collins.

The defense has been put behind the eight ball early in the game but has shown great poise in holding them to field goals

This team will grow with Walter in there but if they put Brooks back in we will still have a losing season and Walter will have learned nothing.

Walter looks like he knows what to do out there. But i need for Ricky Dudley Part 2 to catch some damn passes. Also we need the O-line to step up. Grove is not the answer at all at Center. The center is the glue that holds your Line together(see barrett robbins). And ours is too busy getting served to to pay attention to everything.

Walter showed a lot of poise and he did not seem rattled. I liked it when he threw his helmet down in disgust. It’s really sad, but the season does seem lost after only two games. We might as well put Walter in there let him learn what he can.

U Guys Are Absolutly Correct! Come On Lets Face It Unless The O-line Brings A Mirricle By Oct1st, We Have No Chance! So Let Shell Have A Experimental Season! The Hell With Brooks! Let Him Be Bench Partners With Porter, Cuz Thats All Hes Gana Be Doing! If The Raiders Really Want To Stick With Walters, The Time Is Now To Start, I Hate To Say It But Were In A Some What Similar Boat As The 49er's Last Year(qb Wise).... I'm on board with these comments. Walter should be allowed to learn how defenses will play him. There is no need to put Brooks back in the lineup. I'm for Hulsey getting the start over Grove at center also. I'm still under the impression that Grove is not making the correct coverage calls before the snap.

Walter will get his shot. He's getting 2 to 4 weeks to prove himself.

God please let the Oline pull off a few miracles so that walter can show his stuff!

One thing. How is the season lost with walter in. I said in the summer he's a better qb than brooks. Its showing now and i think he's our best qb. Naw this aint packing it in. Its getting our best players on the field regardless of age. Art can do that on defense. But its time he did it on offense.

The season isn't lost with Walter, it's lost with the offensive line. It's lost with the blocking. It's lost because in comparison to the rest of the league, we're outmatched. This upcoming weekend will be the best weekend for the Raiders. After that, it's all downhill unless somehow there are some drastic changes. (I know I'm being a downer, but it's the truth, to some extent.)
