Here is the math.

1- Bring in a head coach who featured one of the nation's top offenses in college at USC as an OC over the years where he dominated running the football with guys like Reggie Bush and Lendale White.

2- Bring in an offensive cordinator who was the OC in Atlanta that led the NFL in rushing each of the last 3 seasons.

3- Re-sign Lamont Jordan.

4- Sign a RB and the guy who should have been awarded the superbowl MVP trophy in Dominic Rhodes.

5- Sign the starting fullback from Atlanta that was also a huge part to them leading the league in rushing with his great blocking.

6- Sign a Monster TE from Arizona who is a blocking specialist and listed at 6 foot 7, 319 lbs.

7- Last I checked, Zack Crockett and Farges are still on the roster.

What does it all add up to? The Raiders want to bring the power running game back to Oakland. I wouldn't be surprised if we still drafted Peterson. Although a big QB like Russel who can get you some yards on the ground would make sense to me with what the Raiders have done thus far this off-season. I also wouldn't be surprised if we drafted LT Joe Thomas cause we still have a lot of work to be done on the O-line. Someone has to open holes for these backs.

Lane has 2 years as OC and a recruiting coach...good luck with that

Don't leave,just stop with the negative vibes with 2-14 what the heck do you expect a warm welcome,you're right about some things you say,except WE ALREADY KNOW!,but we really don't know what Kiffen will do,we don't know if our draft pick will be a bust except some of our past high picks have turned to sh't so we cross our fingers there,we don't know if the defense will get better or revert to form(Back up football).

But I will say that offensive(Stinks) line is so bad that we ain't going anywhere unless they get changed out,or take better steroids,we are still a QB short,so I get the stinking feeling we will draft Quinn and hope he turns into Lamonica or Montana and not Beuerlein or Mirer,but Quinn had a hard time in college with good teams while Montana excelled,so can you say hold the clip-board?

Teams that have the #1 pick hardly ever win,so the only thing I expect this year is a trend -up,and hope the defense gets better,and if I said we will win the title someone would tell me to take my medication..lol

Oh yeah,I hate the Fortwhiners one reason,they got a new stadium while the Raiders are getting the back of Californias hand,teams that get new stadiums usually have a better chance at winning the title,so I guess the Fortywhiners and Chucklers are more important the the Raiders,so I would be shocked if we ever made the playoffs again without a new stadium,how do you like my negative vibes?

I disagree. I think that maybe the line is okay, and the staff is what sucked. Why haven't we signed any of the free agent lineman? I think Kiffin is on to something. I think he's going to repair that line just fine.
