Well I don't know if we are going to draft a QB but we need at least 2 more QB's on the roster and the vet FA's are going fast. What do you guys think of about David Carr? It's hard to judge his career in Houston cause no QB had worse protection in his 5 year span than Carr did. I mean he still has a career QB rating over 80 and has been a big part to Andre Johnson's sucess. That says a lot considering his sircumstances. I know Al Davis hates to draft QB's in round 1 but he has no problem signing QB's who were 1st round picks that were thought to be busts. Remember Jim Plunkett was a 1st overall pick (just like Carr) with a lot of talent that went to a horrific Patriot franchise that declared him a bust. I've always been a fan of Carr and wondered just what he could do with protection and a running game behind him. He has had niether in Houston. This has "Al Davis pick up" written all over it.

I was just thinking the same thing when I saw that the Texans traded for Shaub. But like badmoon said, we need two QBs now, so who do we sign after we get our "veteran"? Carr can't be considered a veteran. It's prrobably going to be Russell in the draft. So that leaves us with Walter, Russell, and who? Maybe Carr, but I can't see it happening.

Update, we just signed a QB.

I like Tui and wish him the best of luck. Classy guy and I believe if he can stay healthy and get a shot, could be a viable starter.

But, the banner has to change. Even with the Raider jersey on, he is still a Jet. How about Burgess if we are going to stay modern or Howie Long with an evil grimmace for the retro look?

I am good at a lot of little things, but pretty useless for most everything else. Making banners falls under everything else. I was hoping maybe you were great at it or something. I could dig around for a cool picture to use, but wouldn't know the first thing about making a banner.

I have photoshop and know how to use it,they have some great destop images at raiders.com which you seemed to have used for the one you have,I just would not know how big you wanted it,and yes you probably do need it re-vamed,and just like the Raiders we need to change everything.

OK I gave it a shot,

I like the last one, but does it gotta be Kiffin? Can't we have Huff or Porter or someone up there? Or the number one pick, when we find out in a month? I mean, I like it, and if it ends up being the banner, I'm happy. But Kiffin isn't a player. I guess I can see it both ways. I know I'm not one to talk, I'm not creating the banner, but I was just thinking.

I found a good pic of Kirk Morrison I was going to use there,but it belonged to Bobbi,but anyway finding pics on the web of players is kinda easy,but most dont fit what your trying to do,and some people freak out when you use their pics,anyway I figure Kiffin is good for at least a year,but I'll keep an eye out for a good Morrison and Huff pic,but forget Porter he aint worthy.

I think they all look good, but probably like the last one best too. I like Kiffin on there, but if we went with a player instead of our HC I think I like Burgess or Asomugha as our Kick Ass representative.
