Raiders | Culpepper and Moss to reunite?

Alex Marvez, of the Sun-Sentinel, reports the Oakland Raiders could be the best fit for Miami Dolphins QB Daunte Culpepper. Team owner Al Davis loves the idea of being able to reunite Culpepper with WR Randy Moss. Oakland would then bypass Louisiana State QB JaMarcus Russell to draft Georgia Tech WR Calvin Johnson, who would give the team a lethal combination at wide receiver.

What would happen to Porter then? Have three top recievers? I think that if the above happened, that we should either take Joe Thomas or Adrian Peterson. I know this is just a repost of an article, but I don't see the logic behind it.

We do need another QB whether we draft one or not,but let me say this..Moss & Culpepper hated each other and had some harsh things to say about each other when they got divorced,and this also does not mean we will not draft a QB because we will need one more,but Al does usually get a cheap 3rd stringer so that might be a safe bet about getting Johnson.

If we get Johnson,Moss or Porter will have to be traded because they can hurt a teams moral with their mouths and really Moss has stunk up Oakland,and Porter wants to go to Disneyland,and for the last three years I thought we had the best wr core in the league but my impressions were built on hype as we were the worst wr core in the league going on three years stats don't lie!

OK! last years play calling was f'ked from what I heard as I didn't watch any games after the first one,and I did think Norv's offense from two years ago was better suited for us give or take his stupid screen passes the defense seemed to be waiting for,Moss & Curry were gimped by injuries and Porter played good when he felt like it,but one things for sure our offensive line is so bad we need to replace one or two of them this year! and the others next year! so if the 1st pick is not an OL the 2nd pick will most likely be one.

Not a fan of Culpepper - and if we wont a Culpepper type player why not just draft Russell?- he's younger and not as injury prone.

I think it will be Calvin personally .....

I think it will be CJ too - though if we were to look at Culpepper I be VERY annoyed.

well, only way we draft calvin if this does indeed happen or trade with the lions for josh mcgown

thanks mate, there are few in the UK who started watching the NFL when it was first shown on Brit Telly (late 1982) - so for the first couple of years was a little spoilt by Raiders success.
I was the odd one out at back then (I was 13 and at school) - everyone else picked the Dolphins, Redskins or 49ers - I had to be different!
