Thats because the league office thinks our #1 pick is going to be so good we have to play with a handicap, but I think the league office is confused the memo said the Raiders have handicapped players,so once again we get bent over the couch..lol

2-14 will get you no sympathy from me!

We've been getting screwed on the schedule every year.

I dont go for this strenth of schedule poop based on last years results. Things change so quickly in the NFL - something like 30% of all rosters change on a year-on- year basis, new HCs join, people come off IR, go on IR.

Look at the Saints last year - most of the teams they played would have thought easy win (early on in the season anyway).....and wouldn't have wanted to face the Panthers (my tip for the SB before last season started oops got that wrong).

No ESPISSN games thank God,and no NBC Sunday Night games,no Saturday games,or Thursday games, and while I think the Raiders don't deserve any prime time games this year,I still think the Raiders should never ever play on ESPISSN...NEVER!,I wont even watch the draft on that f'ked up station, and while most Raider fans may not agree with me I think most of the people over there are jacked up lunatics on crack, and thats not funny I really believe it!

I kinda hope it was Mr. Davis who told ESPISSN to drop dead this year, thats what I hope anyway, and since I only watched one game last year did ESPISSN ever move the score screen from the middle of the f'king TV while play was going on? that sh't proves my crack theory!

I think there's a conspiracy against the Raiders. The NFL does anything possible to keep us down & make it hell for us. Even the damn referees got more leniency towards other teams when faced with us. As bad as we did last year, this schedule is pretty damn tough!

Only two games are played based on last seasons record.

In 2008 we are going to play the AFC East (4 Games), NFC South (4 Games), our Division (6 game), and two other AFC foes. One from the AFC North and One from the AFC South. If we come in first in the AFC West then we will play who comes in first of those two divisions, if we come in second, we'll play whoever comes in second, etc.

Just like this year's schedule. We get our 6 games against our own division, 4 games against the AFC South, 4 games against the NFC North, one game against the 4th placed team in the AFC North (Cle), and one game against the 4th place team from the AFC East (Miami). The only difference in our schedule and that of our other three division mates is that San Diego plays New England and Baltimore (instead of Cleveland and Miami), Denver plays the Jets and Cincy, and KC plays Pitt and Buffalo.

I didn't know there were two threads on this, but SOS is a crock. We have the "hardest" schedule because when you count up the W_L record for SD, KC, and Denver opponents, who play us twice, their opponents record is 4 - 28 for games against us, which makes their schedule look easier. Yep, because we sucked ass that makes it look like they have easy opponents. Take out the win-loss record for division mates and we have the easiest schedule in our division. We have to win some games against our division to bring back the respect.

I got to be honest the conspiracy revolves around the media and league office's indifference toward AL Davis, although because we open on the road most years because of the Oakland A's(Not This year or last) I've noticed the refs call Raider opening games like they are saying "F'k you you Al Davis and die" sort of like last years opening game when the refs pretty much rolled us,and its not really the schedule but the kind of teams we play in the first three games we usually win at home, and we always lose on the road.

As this years first game looks like a lock for us it will probably go something like this, Gallery will get caught holding about 5 times, and at least two pass interference calls will put Detroit on the goal line, but the game will be close 21-20 Detroit with seconds left as Gallery get called for holding on a Janamisski field goal that puts us up 23-21,but the re-kick is wide right..WE LOSE!

One things for sure, you cant buy that kinda drama at any other opening game, and its almost a sure bet we'll go to Donkeyville the next week and get beat something like 45-2,but the refs will go easy on us during the Cleveland game, but whats the point? the players will already be saving themselves for free agency the next year.

And the funny thing is I'm serious,I've seen 23 straight years of this sh't!
