Default Are you confident in either 3 of the QB's can win us games to make the Playoffs?

Andrew Walter looked real impressive, but we all know in the regular season teams will blitz the hell out of him and we all know how he folds under pressure.

Josh Mccown is the most mobile out of the group, and could be a good short yardage QB to move the chains, but does he have the accuracy and arm strength to throw it down field.

Dante Pepper still got a rocket of an arm, but looked awful in preseason , but was with the 4th string. I'm worried about his tendency to fumble the ball when pressured upon with his known small hands.

Jamarcus Russell needs to get in camp and work his way to the starting lineup, because I'm not sold on any of the 3 QB's for now, our O line of course will have a lot to do with that.

We wont realy know the answer untill they take a down in week 1 and i hope its Walters. I realy liked the way he played last week, but it was againts the second sting, so i hope he gets to start this saturday. .. but if the line protects any of these QB's then well be ok

Mccown looked like he has good mechanics, and Walter looked a little gun shy still, but J. R. will either be Super,Moderate...Or Dust! cant tell yet.

But can we win with them? we can win the Superbowl with nothing but defense just ask the Ravins and Bucs,so the real question is how many times will we turn the ball over....I suspect we will find out.

Ohh, Sgt. Pepper wont be on the team come September.

It's too premature to tell but it looks like we'll be keeping all 3 and doing QB by committee - not a good forumula for success.

Walter does look improved and stability on the line will really help a player like him who likes to stay in the pocket. On the other hand his throws are still too high (a problem last season as well). Who knows if his confidence will be shattered if he gets in a rut. His shoulder could act up. He has too many negative intangibles to overcome and seems to be a candidate to be let go if/when JR gets signed.

McClown is not going to help us. He never did anything at all with the Cards except blow a chance to be the guy. He is inconsistent above all else. Who cares if he can escape a rush. How many of those throws will be accurate? Forget him. Like we need a guy to throw short yardage? Jeff Otis can do that (and I would feel better about him starting than Clown)

Culpepper's consistency is also open to question. He seems to have his mobility back but for how long and how fragile is he?. He has the track record to live up to but it's a long season and it is really unknown how well he would hold up. If he plays well for 8 games and wins them all, that seems to be a best case scenario. Hopefully that is underestimating him.

I think Walter is the best option. Last season his play exposed the fact that 7 step drops would not work. He played much better and was protected better when he used 3 & 5 step drops. The new offense of Kiffin doesn't use 7 step drops as the norm so, walter should do just fine.

Not to mention Randy Moss dogging it and dropping passes on purpose. Courtney anderson dropping every ball in sight.
