The KC fans have been a pain in the butt for a couple of years now (on my "home" forum) and the Boltz bandwagoners (more than just a few of them don't even know what number Fouts wore) are irritatingly cocky... but the primary AFC West rivalry in my estimation is Broncos/Raiders...

Ouch... terrible memories there. We had a couple of starters that fit the same mold. Schroeder and Marc Wilson come to mind!

One could add Kerry Collins and Aaron Brooks to that list as well.

There you go... Collins was better than Griese and Plummer with his brain tied behind his back

I get migraines when I think about Marc Wilson. Fortunately for us during his time we had a good defense that punished the other teams qb's

Maybe he was before Romanowski did a number on his jaw.... but the Collins-era Raiders were 9-23.

Why cant we have a Lester Hayes icon when someone post the name Fouts?,because when I see that name, Lester pops into my head.

I'm lovin my icon..

When Plunkett was pulled in 1983 for losing two in a row,we played @Dallas in a Sunday Night game where he(Wilson) started and we turned the ball over about 6 fuggen times, 3 for him alone, but we won 42-38...Man! HOW GOOD WERE WE THAT YEAR!

My favorite Wilson plays were when he went down even before he was touched,so I'm thinking theres real truth in that old saying "No Guts ,No Glory".

IF we would have had a consistent QB who could have taken over for Plunk instead of Marc Wilson, those would have been some scary good teams...

I think we could have won a couple more championships if we had a decent QB. I think the loss of Plunkett put gasoline on Al's big arm QB fire. Al never satisfied the itch until Jamarcus came along, now its a game of wait and see.
