Guest: (becoming distraught) You have all these small trees, but people have the higher celilngs these days, and would want taller trees.
(At this point I must note that the vast majority of the artificial trees are 6')
Me: Well, I don't really know. Its Minneaplolis, our corprate office that decides what we carry.
Guest: (visably upset) THIS ISN'T AMERICA ANYMORE, we have no choices. they decide what we can buy. I am going to another store.
Me: (trying to retrieve my jaw from the floor, I stand there speechless as she walks away)

It's "not America anymore" if Target doesn't carry 9-foot artificial Christmas trees, eh? LOL Wow... who'd have thought something so trivial would have sparked that kind of hissy fit?

That was one of the stranger moments....

We had ONE 9' tree... it jsut wasn't a Douglass fir...
