How is he the best... because Mel Kiper and the other goofballs say so? What makes him the best... I've listed 6 reasons why he sucks... outside of him being fast what makes him sooo great... He's not half as good as Adrian Peterson!

OK, let's talk X's and O's. Any RB is going to do better with a good O-line that can open the running lanes. Gallery can't do it all by himself. Help on the O-line means that whoever's back there will enjoy more success. And so will your QB.

That's very logical and I totally agree... Since your donkeys have a history of plugging in average RB's and making a killing off of them I would have to say our RB core is good enough... They would be much more effective with Jake Long or Ryan Clady up front.

Yeah, you need linemen. A suspect O-line means pressure on your QB. It means the running game is likely to get stuffed. And it also means drive-killing yellow hankies on the field at regular intervals, whether the call is a false start or holding. The best way to help your offense in general is to bolster the O-line.

TD was a very good RB. He would not have been nearly as effective without Gary Zimmerman, Mark Schlereth, and T-bone opening up the running lanes. Any RB will struggle if the O-line does. Look at what happened to Larry Johnson when he lost Will Shields and Willie Roaf... he struggled, was pressured, and eventually was injured.

We all have opinions... However, opinions gain credibility when they are backed up with fact! This is one of the things that we do on RKA. We discuss with facts. Time for you to get on board with that...

Explain why he's better... all of our current RB's have better overall skills than McFadden. I have explained and given my opinion and I have experts who happen to say some of the same things. The burden of proof is on you. Again, I have given 6 facts about Mcfaddens problems... Refute me with facts!

Damn skippy Blue... TD was a down hill runner make a backside cut and go! Your linemen and the cut blocking scheme was very effective... TD took full advantage... Just like Fargas did last season

Linemen don't do a "sexy" job (many football fans can't even name "their" team's linemen).... but on the football field, the battles are won or lost on the lines most of the time.

yea fargus did take advantage of the zone blocking yes he did get over 1000 yards but had that been mcfadden with over 200 cares he would have had between 1300-1500 yarsd and not 1001

Ok lets do it this way....

The zone blocking system requires the RB to make specific cuts either backside or hit the developing hole in front... This requires decision making, Speed, Footwork, explosion and the ability to square up to the LOS at the proper moment... Vision is required also. Fargas did this exceptionally well last season. The things that I listed are requirements for a RB in a ZBS...

McFadden hasn't shown me that he does these things... you can look at his highlights and watch his games... He doesn't make any cuts against the grain or back door... he relies on trying to out run the defense... that won't work in the NFL ask Tatum Bell.

Fargas would most likely have done better with a better O-line, too. I don't know how many times a false start or holding penalty stopped a drive in its tracks, but your O-line (particularly Sims) was a yellow-flag magnet.
