| | Bad news for raiders chiefs sign ty law It's official, Ty Law is now a Chief.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — The Kansas City Chiefs came to agreement Sunday with free-agent cornerback Ty Law, a team official told the Associated Press.
Chiefs spokesman Bob Moore said Law had agreed to terms on a five-year agreement.
A five-time Pro Bowler, Law led the NFL with 10 interceptions last year for the New York Jets. Herman Edwards, the Jets coach last season, is now head coach of the Chiefs and has vowed to rebuild a defense that has been near the bottom of the league for five years.
Law is to be in Kansas City on Monday for a physical. |

Those monkey pumping Chump asses can have 4 Ty Laws, but we still play the mother f'kers twice so we might as well show up and give em a game, and that beats wetting our pants and running to mommy.
We take them our game and see if they can deal with us.

| | Here's the real news and it's bad for the cheaps and everyone else
Huff and the Raiders reached an agreement on a five-year deal that will be worth between $22.5 to $26.5 million dollars, including $15 million in guarantees, sides close to the deal confirmed.
The Raiders think taking a chance on Michael Huff at No. 7 in this year's draft will pay off. Should Huff go on to become the superstar that the Raiders envision, the contract contains enough language that the former University of Texas standout could earn up to $43 million, making it an even more lucrative contract than the one that Pro Bowl safety Ed Reed recently signed with Baltimore. But Huff would have to become a premier safety to achieve such levels of pay.
Nevertheless, the Raiders will have their first-round pick in camp on time, and Huff is expected to win the starting safety job, paired opposite Stuart Schweigert to give Oakland a young and talented safety tandem.
Huff's big deal is expected to be one of two in the AFC West that gets done July 24. The San Diego Chargers also are closing in on a deal with their first-round pick, former Florida State cornerback Antonio Cromartie. With Chargers rookies due to report by the night of July 24, Cromartie is not expected to be late. |

| | Law is irrelevent. Stopping their blitzes is all we need to take care of. The Gunther cunningham coverage are laughable when he doesnt get pressure. With that said, Law will take chances and get turnovers. But he'll get beat too as he did last year even with the 10 int's he wasn't a shutdown CB last year.
People become naive and think the system will be the same as it was with the jets. but the only thing herm brought with him from the jets was coaching. no offense or defense. the chef GM's chose mike "i haven't run an offense in 20 years" Solari and gunther "blitz to hide my shitty coverages" cunningham the guys running that show. To be fair our OC Walsh has been out of football for a decade+. But I better never hear any chef fans try to rag on him when i look at solari's OC experience. |
