Since when have we tried to stop you from venting  You're right they asked dumb ass questions and they make the assumption that nobody wants to play for the Raiders because of Al Davis and Blah... Blah... Blah... but, every year free agents come into oakland Warren Sapp said sign me up without hesitation... Hall comes in this year and now everyone wants to say its because we over paid... I aint buying any media hype of any kind! |

If you listen to the people that know & are close to Al Davis, they all talk about what a great guy he is, what hes done for him & his loyalty. They all say he commited to winning & to the Raiders & his players. I dont know how well the NFL equates to the Marine Corps, but I know the best COs & NCOICs Ive had were the ones that were commited to their troops, gave the loyalty them they expected from them & Al Davis seems like that kind of leader.

In all seriousness MVN (Raiders Site) helped to me to keep a level perspective at times when I thought I was the only one being rational about the Raiders. |

And by the way, if we pull about 3200 visits today, THoughts from the Dark Side will have had its first ever 100,000 visit month. And very likley it would be the first 100k month for any of the MVN team sites. |

Nuff said!!! | I remember the Silver & Black bell bottoms in the days of being the most feared team in the NFL. Even though I was 8, in '76, thats about when I fell in love with the autumn wind & the bay pirates that sailed with it.
