Now hold on. I'm a Raiders fan just like you guys. But let's call it like it is. I mean holy cow! Is there anyone any more frustrated and embarassed than I am with the Raiders/Broncos Monday night debacle (save maybe the players and coaches..)? Now, I could talk at length, but, simply put, I believe it begins with Al Davis. His ideas about how to staff a team, I believe are way outdated. For instance, why draft Darren McFadden when they needed someone to shore up the dtackle slot vacated by Warren Sapp? And, man, he has got to find a coach, stick with him, and back him up for God's sake. Does anyone in the Raider's front office still believe defense wins championships? Feedback? Thoughts?

I agree 100%. I'm almost embarrassed to be a Raider fan anymore. We can't do sh!t on offense or defense. And I agree, it starts will Al Davis. He runs the team like it was still in the 70's and 80's. I know this is only the 1st game, but still, I didn't see anything impressive in the preseason either. Looks like it might be another long year for the Raiders.

The offense didnt look that bad to me, slow starting yes, but not THAT bad & it got better when McQuistin went in. The D look sick, sad & sorry. The BDs always out of position & the line just flowing where the Oline took them. Im not ready to call for Kiffs head, but Ryan needs to go. Not sure who to replace him with, but as bad as our D looked you have to blame coaching first.

I don't have any quarrels with the offense of the second half. The defense was ****ing horrendous though. Rob Ryan should be fired. We didn't blitz Cutler once the entire game. No pressure. Anyone can be an NFL quarterback when you give them that much time to throw.

3 head coaches and 5 different opening day starting QB's in 5 years ought to be enough reasons to explain today. As bad as we were tonight, with the exception of Rob Ryan I'd like to see us keep this staff together. We are going to go nowhere if Davis fires Kiffin and we have another change or management and systems!

The only bright side its 1 loss!!! Cutler is further along in his progression than Russell...Shanahan always has something up his sleeve against the Raiders...it week 1 Raiders werent prepared and Denver was.....Rob Ryan needs to be fired ASAP his playcalling on defense was horrendous and the difference in the game...cmon that game got out of hand so fast....no blitzing nothing on defense an absolute joke!!! Cutler had 5 to 7 seconds to throw on his 24 attempts...seriously....im thinking we will see a more desperate Raider team in KC and Buffalo and I would hope 2-2 going into the bye

Al Davis had nothing to do with the mistakes made on the field tonight.

This team lacks focus and direction. Theyare pro athletes and they are expected to perform as such.

The Raider problems lie with the lines but Glen Dorsey wouldnt have made a wit of difference tonight.

I expecteed us to win 7 games this year and I stand by that because many of the teams we will play have as many, or more problems than we do.

Maybe Denver isnt as bad as we thought they were.
