I'm going to go on record as saying we will draft Chris Long,because Al will not pass him up and the teams in front of us are not likely to want to screw will Al Davis,this may be a 100% sure thing.

I'm gonna keep checking with my "Source" for a while before I make a final decision. The combine is coming up quickly and I'll be watching every moment!
Ok... if we don't trade down and If none of the college prospects get injured... The Raiders will Select DT Ellis from USC... I'm not making it official but this is my first choice... Reason:
Ryan and Kiffin need to get on the same page... I think Kiffin will want to go with Defense he's familiar with USC Ryan needs Dline help to justify staying in Oakland so, Ryan will Go with Ellis instead of Long... .. Again this is not my final answer... I'm still checking my inside sources
I think you're wrong..Al will make the #1 pick and it will be Long defense,or Long offensive whoever is left!,but I do hope Kiff plays a role for the rest of the draft,after all he is coaching the Senior Bowl this week...got to think there will be a couple of future Raiders on that field.

1. Gosder Cherilus - OTackle ( If he falls to round 2 )
2. Sedrick Ellis - DTackle / NTackle
3. Jake Long - OTackle
4. Chris Long - DE / DT
5. Jamaal Charles - RB ( Will make McFadden fall after Al gets a look at the 40 time look out )
I really love Gosder Cherilus... that kid is a beast and nasty!

The coaches always have a say in the players picked... Art Shell influenced the selection of Michael Huff. Al Davis gets way too much bad press for not being a listener. The only player that he picked last season was the CB from Cincinnati.... Think about it. He didn't pick Zach Miller... Bush or any of those players... they all had Kiffin written them. He certainly ok's the picks though!

A funny story going back to when he drafted Gene Upshaw,Al wanted him all along but was being pressured to get some other player Al finally gave in but when the card went up it was Upshaw,and I truly believe Al Davis does have the golden touch when loyalty is not involved like Todd Marinabitch(His father was a coach with us) and here we are again with Long,Al is truly predictable,and if there really was a Quinn vs. J.R. feud last year..Al came out the fuggen winner in more ways than one.

Since the Combine is coming up... I'm restating the players that I like and will be watching during the combine this week.
I have to put my two cent in for Dorsey,when LSU's defense was healthy last year they stopped the other teams from getting off the bus,don't look at his stats he was double and triple teamed in the Championship game and that only allowed other players to freaking star,he's the kinda player we need on defense,and I'm higher on him than I was on J.R..
But then he wont be there at 3-4 anyway,so carry on...

Yeah I have taken him off of my list because of the fact that he will not be there. I think he's the most dominant DLineman... If I were grading on a scale of 1 thru 10 I would give him about 8.5 and I would give Ellis an 8.0 on an NFL level... in college he Dorsey is a definite 10
