I’m reading so much optimism. I wish I could be, but the past 4years years has negated any optimism I might have had. So now we bring in a guy who is young, and who does seem to have some good ideas, but has not been an HC on any level. I just cannot get too optimistic about that. I will get optimistic when I see a change on the field.

This guy has been running one of the best college programs in the nation in 6 years.... he must have a big brain if he can continue to keep it fresh and win there.

I really have a good feeling about this guy and hope by the way he referred to Mr.Davis to being Al may mean Al is ready to backoff a little bit and rethink his approach... of course it's a longshot but Al ould have brought in the old stand by , his friend Dennis Green but when you when you hit rock bottom, you have but one way you can go.... there is no way possible this team could ever be as horribly bad on offense as it was this year... of course if the defense was as bad, we would be worse, but Ryan has this young D working and they will only get better and learn more.

Wow, you have the balls to call me out.. I like that. Hey man I bleed Silver-N-Black. Ask anyone on this forum. I watched every pathetic game last year. But, I am a realist. Last year I completely endorsed Art Shell and guaranteed he would bring us back to greatness. I was dead wrong. I was even somewhat optomistic about Norv's 2nd year cuz we got Randy Moss. Look what happened that year? So this year I am going to be a little more reserved. Am I putting our new coach down? No. As with any Raider coach he has my hope and support (unless he starts screwin' up). But I will hold my accolades until I see some serious change on the field. If you think that makes me a fairweather fan, well, you are entitled to your opinion.

It's not Fairweather it's called being spoiled,I can remeber when we were behind in a game it was never over the players just kept plugging away and most of the time we won,but now if we fall 10-14 points down you may as well throw your TV out the window,kick the cat and shoot the dog becuase it aint going to happen,and I to dont have any faith in a turn around this year,but hey! it can happen, I'm not saying it wont.

And all those old Raiders who are in the Hall?well it clear as sh't they deserve to be there,because we have only produced one Hall memeber in the last 26 years Tim Brown,and I dont think he should be a first ballot only because I think Cliff Branch was wayyyyy better,and he will never get in because we have so many from his era.
