Reports of Lane Kiffin's demise were either premature or are on hold.
Kiffin remained calm in the center of a storm as the Raiders staff coached the North in the Senior Bowl, neither confirming or denying rumors that he had been asked to sign a letter of resignation by owner Al Davis.
"I'm not talking about anything that happened over the last three weeks," Kiffin said.
It's not a reach to assume those last three weeks have been uncomfortable for the 32-year-old head coach, who talked about making changes at his season-ending press conference—one at which he failed to even call defensive coordinator Rob Ryan by name and would not vouch for his job security.
