I'm done with this. There's no way you're backing down, and I'm never going to think ******'s a great HC. Let's just agree to disagree. I don't want this to turn into a pile on. There's numbers flying back and forth, and honestly, I've got to go shoot myself because the CMAs are on and for SOME reason I haven't changed the channel. I'll be back later, to discuss stuff other than ******. | What the hell... Pile on!!! Beat the snot outta her... Boggle her mind with stats... Beat her into submission!
One of my favorite songs... I don't know why... I guess I like to chop my arm And you may find yourself living in a shotgun shack
And you may find yourself in another part of the world
And you may find yourself behind the wheel of a large automobile
And you may find yourself in a beautiful house, with a beautiful
wife And you may ask yourself-Well...How did I get here?
Letting the days go by/let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by/water flowing underground
Into the blue again/after the money's gone
Once in a lifetime/water flowing underground.
And you may ask yourself
How do I work this?
And you may ask yourself
Where is that large automobile?
And you may tell yourself
This is not my beautiful house!
And you may tell yourself
This is not my beautiful wife!
Letting the days go by/let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by/water flowing underground
Into the blue again/after the money's gone
Once in a lifetime/water flowing underground.
Same as it ever was...Same as it ever was...Same as it ever was...
Same as it ever was...Same as it ever was...Same as it ever was...
Same as it ever was...Same as it ever was...
Water dissolving...and water removing
There is water at the bottom of the ocean
Carry the water at the bottom of the ocean
Remove the water at the bottom of the ocean!
Letting the days go by/let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by/water flowing underground
Into the blue again/in the silent water
Under the rocks and stones/there is water underground.
Letting the days go by/let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by/water flowing underground
Into the blue again/after the money's gone
Once in a lifetime/water flowing underground.
And you may ask yourself
What is that beautiful house?
And you may ask yourself
Where does that highway go?
And you may ask yourself
Am I right?...Am I wrong?
And you may tell yourself
MY GOD!...WHAT HAVE I DONE?
Letting the days go by/let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by/water flowing underground
Into the blue again/in the silent water
Under the rocks and stones/there is water underground.
Letting the days go by/let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by/water flowing underground
Into the blue again/after the money's gone
Once in a lifetime/water flowing underground.

| | Blue... a few years ago I bought a Michael Kamen CD... It happened to have Eric Clapton on it... It changed my entire outlook about Slow Hand! I thought he was strictly blues and rock... He's one of the greatest in any Genre!!! |

Now, I love Eric Clapton. I consider myself a music afficianado, and Clapton is up there as far as favorites. But when it comes to slow hand, and this while I totally dig Page's sloppy riff rock style, I feel the David Gilmore plays some of the most emotional slow hand I've ever heard. I know it's not Jazz, but when you said "slow hand", I couldn't help but gush over Gilmore.

Clapton is a great guitarist, but Stevie could play some amazing riffs... | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
